He's renowned for his work on Elia Kazan's La Cucaracha De Rojas (the telenovela musical short film). Rafael moved to California and decided to teach US History and AP Gov/Econ. He later deported back to Mexico by crossing the border. Sadly, Rafael got caught up with drugs and ran his own Mexican cartel. He later got arrested and was sent to a Mexican prison. Luckily, Rafael made a dashing attempt to escape. He partied after this attempt. However, as he was walking home, a car hit him, which caused his untimely demise and death on April 2023. Elia Kazan directed a biopic about his life and his deportation.
