Pursuing his passion for acting he auditioned for and was accepted into the National Youth Theatre, while still gaining experience at University. Upon graduating he won a scholarship and went on to train at the British American Drama Academy, where he played Caesar in William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar and the titular character in Shakespeare's Othello.
