Questo film autobiografico è stato girato pochi mesi prima che venisse a mancare la leggendaria Anita Ekberg, costretta su una sedia a rotelle in una casa per anziani nei dintorni di Roma. Con sottile sarcasmo, racconta aneddoti privati, la tristezza della solitudine, di amori passati, amici persi ed il sogno di continuare a recitare. Dopo la sua scomparsa il film ed il materiale aggiuntivo non fu montato. Solo più tardi venne deciso che Anita - la Diva ed amica - meritasse un ultimo tributo.
